Rocks are an improvised throwing-weapon available to the hero.
They can usually be collected by clicking randomly on the ground in screens in the wilderness or (in QFG1EGA and QFG2) by typing get rocks.

Rocks can be obtained almost everywhere in the forest screens.
Quest for Glory II[]
Rocks can be obtained only at the city overlook screen.
Quest for Glory III[]
They can be picked up anywhere in the savanna or the jungle.
Though the hero uses rocks as a throwing weapon in the same fashion he might use a dagger or Simbani spear, he cannot use the Simbani target range for rock-throwing practice in the same fashion that he might use it for dagger- or spear-throwing practice.
