Quest for Glory: The Authorized Strategy Guide for "So You Want to be a Hero" and "Trial by Fire" is book apparently published in 1991 or 1992 by Boxtree LTD (a UK publisher), and written by Carol Ann Henshaw, covering the first two games of the Quest For glory series (probably the EGA version of QFG1).
Background
This book is said to inlude only So You Want to Be a Hero & Trial By Fire, it was apparently released several months before QFG3. The description for it includes;
"The exciting combination of fantasy story and practical walk-through not only makes this book enjoyable to read, it also gives all the answers, tips, and strategies that any adventurer would ever need to know. Plus, the book includes original fantasy drawings of the exciting characters and events."
It was 380 pages long.[1]

Some listings include Carol Anm Henshaw and/or Paula Spiese (but its largely believed Paula Spiese did not work with Carol Ann Henshaw on any QFG project).
Amazon's listings include the ISBN listings of Paula Spiese's book rather than the Boxtree book.
Some of the UK book listings suggest this was coauthored with Paula Spiese (she gets second billing). The German Amazon listing lists lists Paula Spiese as the author, with a mix of information from the 1994 Quest For Glorty: The Authorized Strategy Guide.[2]
The US market would get a similar book a few years later by another author, Paula Spiese called Quest For Glory: The Authorized Guide in 1994 that covers the first four games.
According to Corey Cole, he believes Carol Ann Henshaw sounded familiar, and he vaguely remembered a guide for 1 and 2, but other than that he doesn't remember anything more.[3] If it exists its possible that the two publications are not related at all.

- ↑ Carol's name sounds familiar, but no, she is not Lori or Corey. I found her on Facebook and asked her if she ever worked on a QG guide. As far as we know, there is the guide for QG 1-4 by Paula Spiese with our help; and a later update that added QG 5. I thought I vaguely remembered a guide for 1 & 2, but Lori does not. All of the illustrations on the Amazon page show the Paula Spiese book.
