This article should not be confused with the Mordavia History of Events: A Time Line published in the official Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness Hintbook. Nor should it be confused with the short timeline based on the Tetralogy concept.

The Long timeline is based on an extra 3-4 year period that occurs between the events of the end of QFG2/QFG3 and the beginning of QFG4 that appears in canonical material including in the QFG4 Hintbook (Mordavia History of Events: A Time Line and Who's Who in Mordavia), and in a few in game references in the last two games in the series (which causes a paradox, anachronism or discrepancy in the timeline).

BackgroundEdit

The Mordavia History of Events: A Time Line shows that 3-4 years passed between the time the Hero was summoned by Ad Avis and Katrina from Tarna, to the point in time he actually arrived in Mordavia. Although this appears to be some kind of paradox, anachronism, or discrepancy, or at least lack of understanding of the effects of teleportation spells over long distances.[1]

Other evidence in the games seem to suggest that a longer period of time passed between QFG3 and QFG4 such as; the existence of an "old" copy of the Hero's Journal (said to be the same issue packed in the game box) said to have been in the Adventurer's guild which had been locked and abandoned for many years, when access to the valley was blocked[2][3], as well as rumors that vampires, including Ad Avis, had moved in some four years before the game, support the idea that several years had passed between the third and fourth game as seen in QFG4 Hintbook. Marrak in QFG5, states that his people were driven out several years before the game (a date that is said to have taken place 1 year before QFG2), which may be another line in support of the paradox[4]. Another form of evidence supporting the extended timeline exists in Rakeesh who is said to have greatly aged between QFG3 and QFG5.

This timeline includes the official references to dates from the games, manuals and hintbooks; including QFG1, QFG2, QFG3, QFG4, QFG5, Shadows of Darkness Hintbook, as well as Quest for Glory: The Authorized Strategy Guide.

QFG = Quest for Glory 1, and BFG = Before Quest for Glory 1. This timeline considers QFG1 as being year 1 for the sake of the timeline, so to make it easier to compare the timelines. Note there are a few inconsistencies between certain dates listed between the various sources (see Conflicting/Alternate dates for further information).

While there are some references within the games and material that support several years passing between QFG3 and QFG4; there are a couple of references to 'antwerp explosions in Spielburg' (implied to have been caused the Hero) less than a year before. This causes discrepencies between the various sources (including some of the other references in the game to time both implied or stated). Due to this, although these references are still included in this timeline they are treated to be more of a 'second' Antwerp explosion, and not the same one that occured in QFG1 (though this second one was likely indirectly caused by the actions of the Hero's first Antwerp explosion).

One of the major differences in the narrative in this version concerns the period when Tanya was kidnapped in relation to when Ad Avis was killed by the hero. In the Long timeline, Ad Avis was killed by the Hero before Tanya was kidnapped according to Mordavia History of Events: A Time Line and Who's Who in Mordavia. In the Short timeline Tanya was kidnapped before Ad Avis was killed by the hero.

The other issue is that the binding/teleport spells to Mordavia cast by Katrina and Ad Avis seemingly occurred 3-4 years after the hero painfully vanished in Tamir due to those same spells (an anachronistic, paradox, or discrepancy).

This timeline should not be considered any more or less relevant than the 'short timeline', and each represents the various interpretations of the story as described in the games and/or other official material (including any potential retcons or descrepencies from the game producers).

Significant Historical Events with Unknown DatesEdit

Decades before QFG4Edit

Katrina lives for decades in Mordavia (was she born there)? While living there she believed she was liege lord of the people.

Before 100 BQFGEdit

  • Julanar becomes a healer, one of the first women to do so. She is tricked by brigands and, while attempting to escape, is transformed into a tree by a djinn that heard her cries for help.
  • The Dragon of Doom is created by powerful magic out of the element of fire. It lays waste to much of the Med Sea, and sinking Atlantis; the mages there are forced to transform into Tritons to survive. Dragon Pillars are raised on the isle of Marete to bind the Dragon into the temple at the Dragon Blood Pool. The game describes this as having occurred several centuries ago (which would suggest it probably occurred less than a millennia).
  • Erana created Erana's Peace long before Erasmus moved into the valley, and is thought to have died there as well.

Before 70 BQFGEdit

  • The wizard Katrina is leaves from the Wizards Institute of Technocery to explore dark magic.
  • Katrina dies for the first time rising as a vampire and becoming the Dark Master.
Note: there is not enough information to classify any of these events within the bounds of other more specific dates from the games and official sources. Some like Julanar and the Dragon of Doom are implied to take place centuries if not milleniums before the QFG series. Katrina herself being a vampire could be anywhere from decades to centuries before the games.

Around 70 or 50 BQFGEdit

Between 70/50 BQFG and 20 BQFGEdit

  • In Mordavia, Amon Tillado grows increasingly mad as he creates the Seven Rituals to Summon Avoozl.
  • Amon Tillado is found dead in a pool of blood beside the Necrophilicon.
  • Borgov takes over the cult, and conceals copies of the rituals throughout the land, retaining the only copy of the Essence Ritual himself.
  • Borgov leads the cult to a cave south of town to summon Avoozl.
  • The archmage Erana senses Avoozl's awakening, and contacts the Paladin Piotyr.
  • Piotyr leads an army into Mordavia, as Erana battles Avoozl in the 'place between worlds'.
  • As the Cult members perform the Rituals to summon Avoozl, the cave begins to transform, forming a huge body for Avoozl to inhabit this world.
  • Soldiers and cult members alike die horribly as the cave absorbs their essences for energy.
  • Dark Magic transforms the remaining cult members into monsters (Chernovy).
  • Piotyr battles with the transformed Borgov-monster to prevent him from performing the last Ritual.
  • Erana closes the gate between worlds, but fails to banish Avoozl completely.
  • Erana's soul and Avoozl are trapped together between worlds.
  • Sergei Borgov, still a monster, flees into the darkness of the cave.
  • Piotyr finds Erana's Staff, and escapes the cave just as the Mouth shuts.
  • Piotyr makes it to town before collapsing from his wounds.
  • When he is healed, Piotyr places Erana's Staff in the town center, so that its magic can protect the town.
  • Piotyr learns that Erana's soul is trapped between worlds, and attempts to locate the rituals of summoning. He is killed by a Barrow Wraith who guards one of the rituals.
  • Dark Magic continues to leak from the Dark One's Cave, distorting the land, and causing monsters to breed.

Between 14 BQFG and 6 BQFGEdit

  • Baba Yaga enters Spielburg after leaving Surria. She puts a curse on the Baron and his children. Note a preview in Sierra News Magazine, Vol 2, no 2; states that Baba Yaga came to the barony of Spielburg a dozen years before the game (pg 6). Giving a possible exact date for when she entered the valley. Though this is based on concept information. This reference also appears in a more historical footnote, in an ad for Hero's Quest in the 1990 Sierra catalogue. The timeline above goes with this date.

Occurs between 4 QFG and 0 QFGEdit

  • The Dark Master learns that she needs the 'Seven Rituals of Summoning' to draw Avoozl into this world. The Dark Master wants night to last forever, so that she will never be helpless in her coffin again.

  • Johari and Yesufu are married (between the end of QFG3 and the start of QFG5).

Conflicting/Alternate datesEdit

This is the list conflicting dates for events found within the games or other material.

Between decades ago and/or 5/4 BQFG4
According to characters and information related to QFG4 and 5 it is indicated that Katrina (and other strangers) moved into Castle Borgov between 4 and 5 years before QFG4.[68]
According to Gypsies and the Mordavia History of Events;a Borgov cousin moved into Mordavia and took over the castle about 5 years before QFG4.[69] Sometime after 5 QFG4, Nikolai heard rumors of 'the Dark Master' moving into the castle and Vampires, but the talk gradually faded. He and others townspeople such as Olga heard these rumors as well, believing strangers (plural) had moved in four years before QFG4 (this may have included Ad Avis and the Goons, Tanya moved in later).
However, according to QFG5, it is said that Katrina had been living in Mordavia for decades, ruling over the land[70]. This suggests at some point she had lived in Mordavia for at least twenty years.
Related to this is topic is when Ad Avis moved in Olga and Boris, and the QFG4 hintbook timeline accounts of rumors would suggest that Ad Avis moved in before Tanya did. While Tanya's accounts would seem she throught he moved into the castle after she was kidnapped and brought to the castle.
74 BQFG4 or 57 BQFG4
Two dates are given when Ad Avis began serving the Dark Master. While they could have began at the same time, meaning that 20 years passed after Ad Avis was released, and escaped his master. Sources suggest that he went directly to Raseir and started his powerplay after escaping Katrina. This occured between 3 and 1 years before QFG2.
19 BQFG4 or 16 BQFG4
Two dates are given concerning the timeframe of Rakeesh's abdication and Rajah's rise to the throne.
Between 15 BQFG4 and "several years" BQFG4
Dr. Cranium claims to have been living in Mordavia at least 15 years before QFG4. According to Yuri Makarov, Dr. Cranium moved into Mordavia several years before the swamp closed off the pass (as noted below it seems the pass was blocked off various points in time).
Between 14 BQFG4 or 13 BQFG4
At the age of nine (or was she eight), Elsa is turned down for training by the Weapon Master for being female[71] (or was it prior to -14 BQFG4).
Wolfgang Abentuer implies that Elsa was eight years old when she kidnapped by Baba Yaga[72], Yorick claims at the age of nine, Elsa was still living at the palace. According to Karl, at the time of QFG1, she was about eighteen[73]. All three characters as well as Stefan von Spielburg agree that she was kidnapped "ten years ago".
Between 5/4 BQFG4, between 4/3 BQFG4, between 3/2 BQFG4 and after 2 BQFG4.
The rainstorms in Mordavia begins. Several characters state that the rains began not long after the "strangers" moved into Castle Borgov (or at least when those characters started noticing the "strangers"). Dahab Khalis said the pass to Mordavia was blocked or restricted as far back as QFG3 (4 BFG4). Boris Stovich said it rained before he left his wife (3 BQFG4). Magda, The Fortune Teller, said it rained after they traded with the gatekeeper Boris a few times (-3 BFG4), after they first moved into the valley (5 BFG4). Tanya states that the rains started before she was kidnapped (2 BQG4) and the Mordavia History of Events places the rains were summoned after she was kidnapped. Dr. Cranium states the rains started "a few years before", and he made a trip to Spielburg a few months back, and that he hasn't received a shipment "this year" (implying that Mordavia was completely closed off within 0 BQFG4). Travel across the swamp was probably limited to travel by boat; according to Dmitri Ivanov and the Gypsies, wagons and individual travel had become impossible much earlier. Although Dmitri and Olga does imply that a few adventurers/visitors have gotten through occasionaly (Punny Bones would be a good example). However, Elyssa seems to imply that boat travel is treacherous (at least on her lake). Each of these details would place the rain storms before 4 BQFG4, between 4 BQFG4 and 3 BQFG4, between 3 BQFG4 and 2 BQFG4, and after 2 BQFG4.
Since most characters agree that it had been raining between a "few years" to "many years", the rains had to have began at least two years ago (if not more). It seems that it has rained intermittently with breaks at times allowing people into the valley (but not out). This would mean it rained before Boris became Gatekeeper, before the Gypsies entered the valley and before Tanya was kidnapped, and then again after.
4 BQFG4 or 0 QFG4
The Mordavia History of Events places the events of QFG 1-3 before Boris Stovich became the gatekeeper of Castle Borgov, and before Tanya's kidnapping. According to Boris in QFG4, he began work "years ago, or several years ago", and that he received the job the same day he walked out on Olga. Olga Stovich is more specific and states that he disappeared three years ago. Several characters mention noticing, "strangers" moving into the castle several years ago, with Olga specifically stating it occured "four years ago" (there are a number of strangers living in the castle including Katrina, Ad Avis, and the Goon Guards). This would place the events of QFG1 and QFG2 about four years before QFG4 (Ad Avis was the newest stranger to move into the castle). It is implied that Ad Avis moved into the castle a long time ago[74]. It should be noted that Mordavia History of Events places Ad Avis move to the castle before Tanya's kidnapping (-2 QFG4), although Tanya implies that he was brought to the castle while she was living there. Perhaps he was out on an errand for Katrina and returned after Tanya was brought to the castle.
In addition, the event of Katrina and Ad Avis casting Entrapment and Teleport spells to bring the Hero to Mordavia is set after Tanya's kidnapping in the 'Mordavia History of Events'. According to QFG 3 the start of that game began three months after QFG2. This would imply that either that the Hero was in Tarna for about 3-4 years (though ingame time implies it to have been only a few weeks to a month at the most, the authorized guide confirms the latter), or that it was a slow spell that while it was cast back at the time of QFG3, it took 3-4 years to bring the Hero to Mordavia (and the Hero was stuck in a kind of erratic dreamfield limbo the entire time), or that some kind of time warping occured bringing the hero from the past to the future instantaneously (I.E. the Hero being brought to Mordavia across space and time). The exact method is not clear.
Other QFG4 references imply that the Quest for Glory 1 occured earlier in the same year; that an Antwerp explosion was caused by the Hero in the Spring, that Dr. Cranium travelled there to collect Antwerp samples in the summer, and came back to work on experiments in the Autumn.[75] However, this doesn't seem to fit with references made by various townfolk to the "strangers" or the Mordavia History of Events account.
Between -3 BQFG or -1 BQFG
Seemingly 2 or 3 dates are given for when Shameen and Shema first came to Northlands and settled into Spielburg.
QFG1EGA states that Shameen and Shema opened the Hero's Tale Inn 3 years before the game. However in QFG2, its implied that they probably opened it about 1 year before QFG2 when the Katta were exiled from Raseir. Sharak for example states that the Katta were driven out one year before QFG2, and Omar & Ja'Afar also talk about Katta exile one year before QFG2 as well. The three year line was removed from QFG1VGA perhaps to make it more clear with QFG2's information. However, Dahab Khalis in QFG3 and Marrak in QFG5 would seem to support Shameen's quote from QFG1EGA as well. Marrak states that his people were driven out several years before (although this line could be in support of and a reference the paradox in the QFG4 timeline).[76] In QFG2, it may also suggest that problems in Shapeir began longer than 1 year before QFG2, as Ferarri already found Raseir an easy mark to take advantage as early as a year and a half before QFG2. Dahab Khalis left Raseir for Tarna when Ad Avis took over, he states this occured many years ago when he was apparently much younger.[77]
Additionally, QFG:The Authorized Guide suggests that Shameen and Shema restored the Katta Tale Inn to how it was before their fateful trip in Abdulla Doo's doomed caravan to Spielburg. They spent several days beating the desert dust out of the draperies, and and rugs, and transformign the inn back to its original splendor.[78]. However, it could imply that Shameen and Shema had moved to Spielburg and opened up the Hero's Tale Inn as early as one week before QFG1. However, comments made in QFG1 novel would still suggest that they had owned Katta's Tale Inn long before Adulla arrival. So rather the refrence in the QFG2 novel would seem to suggest that Shameen was the proprietor of both Hero's Tale Inn and Katta's Tale Inn arouned the same time. Adulla had Katta's treasures because the Kattas were returning to Spielburg during a trip to Shapeir, and they were bringing their profit from their Inn in Shapeir back to their Inn in Spielburg. Also related is the fact that the Kattas were planning on another trip back to Shapier in Abdulla's caravan, but that plan was cut off when the caravan had been destroyed (and their assets stolen). The novels additions actually can be seen to clarify how and why the Innkeepers treasures from Shapeir were being brought to Spielburg if they were already living there (as mentioned in QFG1 and QFG2), and why they were blocked from leaving again!
Additionally its possible that because they were running both inns in Shapeir and Spielburg around the same time, its possible that they made three main trips between the locations (once at 3 years, once at 1 year, and again two weeks before QFG1).
Based on both Marrak and Dahab Khalis comments people must have begun to go into exile much earlier than one year before QFG2. However, it was when Ad Avis over through the previous Emir, and took over, that the strict anti-Katta laws were enforced. This may suggest that even under the previous nice Emir, that things were hard on the Katta, and other people. That they were starting to exile themselves or at least forced out by various means. But when the new Emir was put into place, a proclamation was made that that made banishment official, exiling all the rest of the Katta.

NotesEdit

  • Webster defines a paradox as;

Main Entry: par·a·dox Pronunciation: \ˈper-ə-ˌdäks, ˈpa-rə-\ Function: noun Etymology: Latin paradoxum, from Greek paradoxon, from neuter of paradoxos contrary to expectation, from para- + dokein to think, seem — more at decent Date: 1540

1 : a tenet contrary to received opinion
2 a : a statement that is seemingly contradictory or opposed to common sense and yet is perhaps true b : a self-contradictory statement that at first seems true c : an argument that apparently derives self-contradictory conclusions by valid deduction from acceptable premises
3 : one (as a person, situation, or action) having seemingly contradictory qualities or phases

As such it does not necessarily have anything to do with "time", but more to do with contradictions and descrepencies. However obviously the paradoxical statements made in this topic concern time related issues as it is a repository of dates and references to time. As such the topic title has a kind of double meaning or play on words.

Compare with Anachronism;

1 : an error in chronology; especially: a chronological misplacing of persons, events, objects, or customs in regard to each other
2 : a person or a thing that is chronologically out of place; especially: one from a former age that is incongruous in the present
3 : the state or condition of being chronologically out of place

This is not a clear indication of time travel (or that the developers intended time travel, which originally they had not), but rather that there are discrepancies in the dates given within the games and its sources.

In this timeline, the Hero would seem to have been stasis for four years traveling very slowly, or pulled into the future four years when QFG4 begins (time dilation and Theory of Relativity could account without actually being time travel, but also accounting for lack of aging on the part of the Hero), or time moves at a faster rate in Mordavia than it does in outside world (3-4 years for a months that passed elsewhere, although this possible situation is not possible to show in this timeline, which assumes linear progression of time at the same rates) (there is an official paradox/discrepancy/anachronism in the QFG4 timeline of events in which Ad Avis and Katrina first summoned the hero four years after he had already vanished in the Lost City). The biggest issue comes from the summoning taking place seemingly 3-4 years after the Hero left Tarna (although it is possible that the ritual to summon took place over a very long time (or individual parts of the spell must be completed over a unknown period of time) with the 3-4 year event marking the final part of the ritual or several individual rituals were made in an attempt to correct the affects of the Dark One's magic (which in the end still failed to send the Hero directly to the castle) with the 3-4 year point marking the final attempted ritual.

As Corey Cole points out that at least in original intent, there was no idea of Time Travel considered, and that the stories were intended to take in a linear fashion over an unspecified amount of time (suggesting that not even the "one year" chronology as shown in the short timeline is not specifically set in stone);

Ref time travel - If the designers count when it comes to canon, I can say that no time travel was intended. As far as we're concerned, the five-game Quest for Glory series takes place in linear order, with an unspecified amount of time between each pair of games. The Hero does not necessarily arrive immediately in the next adventure location.
The only possible ambiguity is the question of how the Dark Master's summoning spell worked. That is not well defined, so time or alternate-universe travel is possible. If so, Erasmus's spell that transports the Hero to Silmaria might have "cleaned up" the dimensional side-effects of the Dark Master's spell.[79]
  • The Authorized guide points out that not only was Abdula the first to enter that year, but also the first merchant to enter the valley in a year.[80]
  • The Authorized guide puts the events of QFG1 over the course of about 9 days (in both the novel and the hintbook section).
  • The amount of time the hero travelled between Spielburg to Shapeir on the magic carpet is unclear. The Authorized guide suggests it was a long trip (took at least several days). It also mentions that several days had passed between the moment they first entered Shapeir and "Day 1" in the game in which they set up the Katta's Tail Inn.
  • The Authorized guide places events of QFG2 over about 29 days (technically 30, as last events of the game occur on day 30).
  • The Authorized guide puts the events of QFG3 over the course of about 24 days in both the novel and the hintbook section.
  • The novel for QFG4 places the events over the course of about 11 days (not counting the two weeks said to take place in the game's epilogue).
  • QFGV guide splits the number of days depending on the class. 23 days on the Thief's Path. 22 days for the Fighter's Path, 20 days for the Wizard's Path, 17 days for the Palidins's Path.
  • The novel for QFG4 states that the Chernovy Cult was destroyed by Pyotyr "decades" before the game.[81]
  • Gnome's Land Inn is payed up for a month, perhaps suggesting that QFG5 takes place over the course of a month. Though the game can be extended for much longer (although it does bug out some of the quests).
  • According to a reference in QFG1VGA, the game takes place around April 11 (April 12 on a leap year). It is said that there are 250 shopping days left until Christmas.[82] This would place it in mid-spring on the astronomical calendar. According to the Quest for Glory Authorized Guide, the events of the game take place over nine days, this means the end of the game takes place about April 20 (or April 21). The Hero left Willowsby about one month before the game about early part of March. This means that over a month would have to pass between the end of QFG1 and QFG2 for it to be early summer in that game (this would place QFG2 in the month of June approximately). QFG3 begins three months later, which would actually place it approximately September (which is actually a autumn month). The events of QFG3 takes place over the course of about 30 days, placing it near the end of September. However, in QFG1EGA (and possibly the remake) there are references that state that it is 'early spring', and that the late winter snows haven't melted yet. This would suggest that the game could take place as early as the first month of spring.
  • QFG4 takes place over the course of about a month (11 days + 2 weeks for the ending). Since it is winter at the start of QFG5, this suggests that QFG4 had to have taken place in the last month of Autumn, the month of November.
  • QFG3 is said to take place during mid-summer which suggests its following after Shapeir season wise (which was set during early summer), however it takes place three months after QFG2 which would place it into early fall (in northern hemisphere reckoning). Tarna is closer to Egypt suggesting it is still in the northern hemisphere (thus still associated with the northern seasons). So there is an inconsistency in the dates.
  • Tarna is at least 200 years old[83].
  • The novelization takes the liberty of letting Devon dicovering the Leopardman prisoner on day ten, for the sake of the flow of the story. In the game the different characters actually encounter the prisoner at different stages of the game. The prisoner is captured around the 14th day for the fighter/paladin, the 10th day for the thief, and the 11th day for the magic user.[84]
  • If the magic magnets are used to try to escape the Dragon of Doom, it is mentioned that the 60 day guarantee has ran out on them 'moments before'. This may suggest that QFG5 takes place within 61 day period (or at least 61 days from buying the magic magnets + plus any days spent before buying the magnets).
  • If the Hero (particulary magic users, or has magic ability) spent most of his time leveling all of his skills to the max, Quest for Glory 5 would take place over a year due to the RIP spell moves time forward about half a day to a day (depending on time of day it was cast), and only gains 1 exp per cast (for a total up to 550). Yet, the game remains winter the entire time! The best time to level up RIP is before you enroll in the Rite of Kings, or before turning in all five medallions for the first Rite (the rite cannot end, until someone brings in the first medallion). However, leveling RIP tends to mess up time sensitive events like the Arena Tournament (tournament ends after a while) or the Chief Thief competition (a player can no longer sign up for the competition after so many days and the ability to add funds into the competition ends after a while). However in the latter situation, the player can still become Chief Thief by finding the real Black Bird. Thus it is best to work on those events first before working on RIP.
  • Rakeesh had time to age between QFG3 and QFG5 suggesting much time had passed, supporting the extended QFG4 timeline.[85]
  • One month before QFG5, Gnome Ann displayed her shells on a table in the bank. Two months before QFG5 Pholus displayed his typesetter.
  • In the HERO Journal issue is shown to be have been published several years before the game (as an old copy is found inside the Adventurer's Guild, and the guild is said to have been abandoned for years since the swamp blocked the valley). This is additional evidence of some kind of paradox found in the game (its an old issue that has been in the Adventurer's guild roughly from the time that the Hero disappeared after saving Tarna, to a point several years later when Hero ended up in Mordavia). There is also a stair stepper an item that was advertised in that issue inside of the guild collecting dust. The journal itself according to the interview with Erasmus was published about the same time that rumors that the Dark Master moved into the valley (likely in reference to move in 4-5 years before QFG4).
  • A few references concerning Ad Avis either in his comments to the hero, and others, appear to suggest that much time has passed between QFG4 and the end of QFG2 as well, and that he may have come to the castle as early as four years before the game (after his 'death' at the hands of the hero).[86]In context, when characters refer to strangers they mean Vampires, and this likely includes both Katrina and Ad Avis (rather than the goon guards, or anyone else at the castle).
  • In QFG5 Rakeesh notes that Simba was growing strong and proud like his mother. This may suggest more than a year had passed between QFG3 and QFG5.
  • Ferarri left Raseir not long after the Hero did forced out by the sultan of Shapeir when he took over.[87]
  • Ugarte and Ferrari arived in Silmaria earlier in the year, before QFG5.[88]
  • Arestes receives 10-20 for robbing the bank.
  • F.A. planned to head north in the spring on a new adventure. He wanted to know if Hero wanted his job as F.A. when he was gone.
  • After leaving Mordavia, Punny Bones spent a few weeks working for Ann Agrama before Hero arrived in Silmaria.
  • Ann Agrama says that Elsa is half Ann's own age. Elsa is about 23 during QFG4 in this timeline. This would make Ann Agrama about 46 (which is pretty young for a gnome?). Note: Elsa does appear a few years older than she did in QFG1 in QFG5's artwork. Although there is no comment on how much time she has aged.
  • Depending on the version of QFG1, Sam the Banker appears to have aged several years by the time of QFG5, or aged very little. Although QFG5 seemingly references details from both versions.
  • Hesparian Mercenaries attacked Atlantis several months before QFG5.
  • Amelia Earhart is to become lost in Spielburg in a couple of centuries.
