Jackalmen (also known as Jackals) are dog-like night time humanoids that travel in packs. They are cunning and prefer to attack things previously wounded. Usually the weakest fighter falls into the battle first, and when it is down, the next strongest one takes its place.

There is a notorious bug in QfG2 where the game crashes with the infamous "Oops. You've done something we didn't expect you to do!" message, sometimes after fighting Jackalmen.
