The gods refers to several pantheons of deities found throughout several cultures. A female god is called a 'goddess'.
God is usually lower case when denoting the various divine beings. The exception being the one God (in which God is a proper name/title) and possibly Allah (which is Arabic name for "God"). When referring to singular God, it is improper to call him "god".
Two known 'goddesses' are also given the title "Goddess" in their titles, but are also referred to as 'goddesses' as their "race".
- Tyche, the Goddess of Good Fortune.
- Hades (indirectly)
- Triton (indirectly)
