Staminapill5

In the Quest for Glory series, the means exist to restore the Hero's stamina, usually in the form of Vigor Potions and/or Vigor Pills. Stamina items exist in all games of the series except for Quest for Glory IV.

Background[]

Through special herbs, certain magics, and years of refinement, the formulas have been developed for restoratives that ease tired muscles and enrich iron-poor blood, as well as restoring vital minerals that keep the body moving. These can take the form of drinkable potions or swallowable pills.

In-Game Use[]

As the Hero engages in strenuous activity, he will find his Stamina Points dropping. This can be from combat, exercise, or using various skills. These items can restore Stamina Points in situations where rest would be inefficient.

Vigorpotion1

Quest for Glory I[]

Vigor Potions can be purchased at either the Healer's Hut for 20 silvers or the Magic Shop for 25 silvers. Consuming a Vigor Potion restores all Stamina Points.

Quest for Glory II[]

Vigor Pills can be purchased from the Apothecary, sold by Harik Attar at three pills for 5 dinars. A successful bargain will result in a fourth pill for free. Consuming a Vigor Pill restores all Stamina Points.

Poolofpeacewater

Quest for Glory III[]

The Apothecary in Tarna does not sell pills to restore Stamina. Instead, the Hero can purchase Waterskins from the Leather Seller, then travel to the Pool of Peace out in the savannah. The water from the pool will fully restore Stamina Points, and it can be stored in Waterskins for travel.

Despite being able to do so for other pills, the Hero cannot import any Vigor Pills from Shapeir.

Quest for Glory IV[]

There are no items for restoring stamina in Mordavia. The Hero will have to rely on resting to replenish Stamina Points.

Vitalpotion5

Quest for Glory V[]

There are two types of stamina restoration in Silmaria: Stamina Pills and Vitality Potions, the latter of which is stronger. Both are sold by Salim Nafs at the Apothecary.

Before the Hero can purchase stamina restoratives, Salim needs Pegasus Feathers. Once the Hero goes to the Pegasus Peaks and retrieves feathers from its nest, he can sell any amount back to Salim, and he'll then have stock of both Stamina Pills and Vitality Potions.

Stamina Pills can be purchased for 5 drachmas apiece. Consuming one will restore 200 Stamina Points. Pills can also be found on the bodies of any Animal Men and purple-crested Goons.

Vitality Potions can be purchased for 80 drachmas apiece. Consuming one will restore all Stamina Points. Potions can also be found on the bodies of brown-skullcap Goons, Granglers, Weirdings, and in Minos Palace.
