Spiegelsee

The Spiegelsee (translated in Common as "Mirror Lake") is a lake that sits in the southern portion of Spielburg Valley. It is featured in Quest for Glory I.

Background

The Spiegelsee is fed by the rains and by the Flying Falls to the northeast. It seems to provide the source of much of the valley's water.

The lake gets its name from its glassy reflective surface.

Just across the river is Lucasville.

In-Game Interactions

The Hero can visit the Spiegelsee during his adventure, and get a single Puzzle Point for doing so. He can also fill a Flask of Water, although nothing can be gained from doing so, as this will not be considered Flying Water.

Easter Eggs

The lake has a random chance of featuring an Easter Egg depending on the version:

• In Quest for Glory I (EGA), the periscope from a submarine from Codename: ICEMAN may be seen approaching the shore. It will impact with the shoreline and appear to sink further.
• In Quest for Glory I (VGA), two potential Easter Eggs may be found in the form of the dolphin Delphineus from EcoQuest series, who will ask if the Hero's name is Adam, or the Loch Ness Monster (who will inquire as to how to get back to Scotland).
