Brauggi is a Frost Giant from the eternally frozen lands of Jotunheim north of Spielburg Valley.
Game interaction[]
He was seeking fruit so that he may 'mellow his mead-horn'. He's willing to trade a Glowing Gem for enough fruit to fill up his prodigious fists. 50 small apples from the Alpinehurst Farmer's Mart in Spielburg Town will satisfy the Hero's end of the deal, and Brauggi will yield up the gem and then start back home.

He speaks four lines at a time, with lots of alliteration, in a similar style to old epic poems, such as Beowulf and the Eddas.
Trivia[]
Brauggi can be attacked, but he always defeats the Hero. Brauggi also can use some magic that will prevent the Hero from attacking him from a distance.
In the original EGA version, asking 3 questions he doesn't know about, he leaves, making the game unwinnable. In later version, he reappears when you come back later.
