You wrestled this awesome battle axe from the barrow of a mighty Wraith.
Behind the scenes[]
Though you obtain the Battle Axe from the Wraith, the icon does not change in your inventory and will remain as the icon for whichever Sword you had upon defeating the Wraith (Rusty Sword or Fine Sword), but will list the item as "Battle Axe" when clicked upon with the Look icon. It will also show the Hero swinging a sword when you click the sword on the Castle gates after obtaining the Battle Axe. There is an icon for a battle axe in the game's resource files, however this icon differs from what the hero is seen as holding in the combat screen. There is also an animation in the resource files of the Hero swinging a battle axe in the same fashion as the sword upon the gates, so it is unknown if this is early game content or a mistake/oversight in the programming.
The missing inventory icon was fixed by both ScummVM and Quest for Glory 4: Enhanced Edition.
