Situated at the far north end of the valley is this enchanted meadow.
The magical meadow seems to resist the effects of nature, as it is carpeted with green grass and flowers at all times of the year. A single large tree grows in the middle of the area, bearing brightly-colored fruit. A carved stone also sits in the meadow, bearing the words "Erana's Peace". Any who enter the meadow feel an overwhelming sense of peace and calmness.
The meadow is believed to be the final resting place of the Archmage Erana. This is later found to be untrue, as the stone covers nothing but a small hollow holding a spell scroll.
Above all else, Erana's Peace is by far the safest and most helpful place in the entire valley. Monsters will not attack, and the Hero will have all his health fully restored upon sleeping here.
The fruit of the tree can be eaten in place of the Hero's daily meal. He will only be able to take and eat one fruit at a time, but there is an indefinite number on the tree and he will never deplete them.
"If thy Will is Magic, so shall I share. Open this Stone and claim what is there."
This is a hint to cast the Open spell, which will open or move the stone, revealing the scroll underneath.
- Puzzle Points are given for eating the fruit on the tree. The Magic User also gains points for sleeping in the meadow, as well as finding the Calm spell.
Behind the ScenesEdit
- The stone under which the Calm spell is found, reads "ERANA'S PEACE". However the letters are intentionally crude, and can also be read as "GURUKA". Indeed, if the Hero examines the stone more than once, he will think that the stone reads "Guruka's Peace". This is an in-joke referring to Producer Guruka Singh Khalsa. In his personal life, Khalsa is a sikh who follows a non-violent movement.
